Strike: No Limits

An initiative to empower women's sports

Strike: No Limits was founded in 2016 by a group of girls in Oberoi International School. Strike is an initiative that promotes gender equality by giving girls (students and teachers) a platform to learn and teach sports.

Our Response to COVID

Exercise has always been an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and sports are a fun way of keeping fit. There are many videos out there with workouts and ways to keep fit, but Strike decided to choose 6 sports and several levels of fitness – like we did in school – and create exercises and drills that improve your skills and help you stay fit, all from the comfort of your home.

Our Sports

Volleyball

Volleyball is one of the most popular sports amongst the girls in our school, which is why Strike has decided to offer a series of drills and exercises that students can do to learn or improve on their skills.

Self-Defence

Self-defence, which comes under martial arts is an important life skill to develop, and what better time to learn than now? With drills taught by a student who has learned martial arts before, you will definitely walk away with a kick in your step.

Football

Since most of our founding team plays football and considering there's a huge interest in our school, we decided we had to take it online. Strike offers drills with and without a football that aspiring players can do at home to help improve on their skills.

Yoga

Yoga – one of the most overlooked sports – is a vital part of one's life. Not only does yoga make you more flexible, but it also helps with your mental health! In Strike yoga, Ishani will be teaching you different yoga positions and poses, including everything from the basics to the most advanced positions.

Fitness

Staying fit doesn't only mean playing sports. It can also just be doing different workouts to stay active and healthy. Here, we have created workouts for all four areas of your body – arms, core, legs and full body. And, we'll be doing them right with you!

Badminton

Did you know that badminton is the second most played sport in India? Our country also boasts some of the world's best women badminton players, so we knew we had to help churn out more! All these drills require are a shuttle and a racket and can be done safely at home.
